What is a Moroccan Hammam?
Many people are unfamiliar with the Moroccan hammam, one of the world's oldest bathing traditions. For generations, hammams have served as places of cleansing, renewal, and community throughout Morocco. Using warm steam, traditional Moroccan black soap, Kessa exfoliation, mineral-rich Atlas Mountain Ghassoul clay, and nourishing argan oil, the ritual leaves skin remarkably soft, refreshed, and radiant.

The Moroccan Hammam Ritual
Your ritual begins as warm steam gently softens the skin before traditional Moroccan black soap is applied and allowed time to prepare the skin for exfoliation.
A full-body Kessa exfoliation gently removes dull, dry skin, revealing smoother, healthier-looking skin while encouraging healthy skin renewal.
Authentic Atlas Mountain Ghassoul clay is then applied to replenish freshly exfoliated skin with naturally occurring minerals. During this time, enjoy a traditional Moroccan hair cleanse or elevate your experience with one of our thoughtfully integrated Ritual Enhancements—including the Nourish Hair + Scalp Ritual, Nourish Lymphatic Body Ritual, or Nourish Facial Sculpt Ritual—each designed to extend your ritual while preserving its natural rhythm.
Your ritual concludes with a refreshing rain shower before authentic Moroccan argan oil is gently applied, sealing in moisture and leaving your skin exceptionally soft, deeply nourished, and beautifully renewed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What should I wear?
For your comfort throughout the ritual, we recommend bringing a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit of your choice. Disposable undergarments are also available if you prefer.
Guests familiar with the traditional Moroccan hammam may also choose not to wear a swimsuit. If this is your preference, you are welcome to do so. Your provider is female, the treatment area is reserved exclusively for women, and you will remain appropriately draped with towels whenever you are outside of the treatment table or rain shower.
Please choose whichever option allows you to feel the most comfortable and relaxed during your experience.
Will my hair get wet?
Yes. Because the ritual takes place in a warm steam environment, your hair will naturally be exposed to moisture.
Traditionally, a Moroccan hammam includes a hair cleanse. Prior to your appointment, you'll have the opportunity to let us know whether you'd like to include the traditional shampoo and conditioner or prefer to skip it. Guests seeking an even more indulgent experience may upgrade to the Nourish Hair + Scalp Ritual, featuring a detoxifying scalp treatment, nourishing hair mask, extended scalp massage, and luxury shampoo and conditioner.
Is the Moroccan Hammam private?
Your provider remains with you throughout the experience, thoughtfully guiding each stage of the ritual.
Our steam room accommodates two treatment tables while maintaining a calm, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere for one or two guests at a time. Guests booking together may enjoy the experience side by side. Otherwise, you may occasionally share the steam room with another guest receiving their own individual ritual.

We've preserved many of the ritual's most cherished elements—including traditional Moroccan black soap, Kessa exfoliation, Atlas Mountain Ghassoul clay, authentic Moroccan argan oil, and the option of a traditional hair cleanse—while incorporating the comfort, privacy, and attentive hospitality of a modern luxury spa.
What is a Kessa?
A Kessa is a traditional Moroccan exfoliating glove that has been used for generations as part of the hammam ritual. Following the application of Moroccan black soap, the Kessa gently removes the buildup of dead skin cells, revealing remarkably smooth, refreshed, and beautifully renewed skin.
Is the Moroccan Hammam recommended during pregnancy?
For your safety and the well-being of your baby, the Moroccan Hammam is not recommended during pregnancy due to the prolonged heat exposure associated with the steam room.
We would be happy to recommend one of our other treatments that are more appropriate during pregnancy.
How often should I receive a Moroccan Hammam?
The Moroccan Hammam is a timeless ritual of skin renewal and self-care that can be enjoyed as often as it feels right for your skin and lifestyle. Some guests choose to experience it as an occasional indulgence, while others incorporate it into their regular wellness routine for consistently smooth, healthy-looking skin.

What should I bring?
Nothing at all—unless you'd prefer to wear your own one-piece or two-piece swimsuit. We provide everything you'll need for your Moroccan Hammam, including towels, slippers, disposable undergarments (if desired), luxury amenities, and all products used throughout the ritual.
Just arrive well hydrated and ready to relax—we'll take care of the rest.
Heat Rituals
Heat + Steam Ritual
45 minutes — $65
A multi-stage heat ritual designed to fully immerse the body in warmth, moisture, and contrast. This guided journey moves through steam, dry sauna, and cooling shower rinses to open the pores, stimulate circulation, and encourage a deep, full-body reset.
The combination of humid heat and dry heat creates a more expansive detoxifying effect, while the paced transitions allow the body to fully unwind and recalibrate.
Access to our locker room and finishing area allows time to refresh, reset, and return slowly to the day.
Dry Sauna Reset
30 minutes — $45
A focused dry heat session designed to extend the benefits of your treatment. The body is warmed through the dry sauna, followed by guided cooling shower rinses to stimulate circulation and enhance recovery.
This shorter, more targeted experience offers the benefits of heat and contrast in a streamlined format — ideal for deepening results without the full ritual.
Includes access to our locker room and finishing area to refresh before returning to the day.
